V★D: You and Antiproduct were Touring all over the world. When are we going to see you live on stage in Germany?

AntiProduct with Clare Noizee

Clare Noizee: Yes, we toured all over the World with AntiProduct (www.antiproduct.com)…and around Germany a few times. I love Germany, I am a big fan of Wurst!!! [:)] Germany is actually where I had to pick human flesh out from between my teeth after biting a large chunk out a guy who tried to tickle me in a liquor store at 5am after a night of excess Jaegermeister…in Berlin…he won’t be doing that again to anyone! Good times!!! 🙂

Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg with Clare Noizee

V★D: You were also Touring with Marky Ramone – how was it as a huge Ramones Fan to play the old Songs together with Marky?

Clare Noizee: Those songs that Joey & Dee Dee wrote are some of the best songs in the World, and I always love playing them! I am very excited that recently I have been working with Richie Ramone who is an astounding drummer & a very cool guy. He is doing the most AMAZING remix of my NOiZEE cover of his song that he wrote while he was in the Ramones, „Somebody Put Something In My Drink“

V★D: The sound of NOiZEE™ is something new – how would you describe the music you do?

Clare Noizee: I am a one chick ear assault. I play a guitar, that has a big fat bass string on it too….I split my signal so I come out thru a geetar rig and a bass rig, and I play along and sing to tracks from my laptop. It is something a bit different, but it is about people coming out and having a good time…dancing and having fun….not taking yourself or anything too seriously….an evening of escape from reality!

V★D: Do you have any Groupies?

Clare Noizee: I have offers! 🙂

V★D: Which musicians do you admire and from which have you learned from?

Clare Noizee: Number one would have to be Dee Dee Ramone. His songwriting, his sense of humour, his simplicity, his not giving a fuck attitude…a total inspiration. He is missed…what a legend!

Lemmy is a constant inspiration to me…not giving a fuck and doing what he does! …and the electricity & atmosphere at a Mötorhead concert is like no other!!! Legends!

Richie Ramone is an amazing songwriter and fantastic drummer. I have learned alot from his style of songwriting, and he has been kind enough to give me some invaluable tips along the way. A class act! 🙂

Kim Fowley was the Runaways manager and has written songs for Kiss, Alice Cooper & many more…I have been working with Kim in LA, and he has taught me many very valuable lessons about songwriting (things that he was told by John Lennon) and keeping things simple!

Alex Kane from Life, Sex & Death…an amazing guitar player and one of the best songwriters in the world at the moment…I have been lucky enough to work with him in AntiProduct.

I have been very fortunate with all the musical genius’s & legends that I have had the opportunity to work with. I have learned so much on my musical journey…which has bought me to where I am today…LETS TURN IT UP TO 11 & GET NOiZEE!!!!!!

V★D: Who are your favorite musicians at the moment?

Clare Noizee: There is so much cool stuff out there now…and the collapse of record companies has meant that there is now a whole new surge of Independent Artists getting out there & the quality of music has risen since there is so much competition…Even though the record companies are collapsing…people are still loving music as much as ever…so the power is shifting back to the Artist…which is only good for new music…now you don’t have to sound mainstream to make a living…if your music is good…people want to buy it! If it has a good melody, then I like it!!!

V★D: 2007 you were moving from London to Los Angeles. What do you like most of the American way of life?

Clare Noizee: I love the sunshine of LA

V★D: What are your plans for 2012?

Clare Noizee: The World! The debut NOiZEE debut album is released at the beginning of May, tho it is available for pre-order from http://www.noizee.net in April. I have some shows in the UK at the end of April and into May…
April 27th: The Barfly, Camden
May 4th: The 12 Bar, Denmark St, London
May 6th: supporting Peter & The Test Tube Babies at The Peel, Kingston
Then I hope to tour the rest of Europe later in the world & also Japan & South America, and the USA. Its a busy year!

V★D: Where can we buy your Album LOUD!!! in Germany?

Clare Noizee: It will be available from all the usual download places….itunes, Amazon etc. and also it will be available from http://www.noizee.net….both download & physical CD. There are also some very cool t-shirts available there too!!!

V★D: What do you think „VAN ★ DALE – ALTERNATIVE LIFESTYLE“ stands for?

Clare Noizee: An alternative lifestyle blog for people who like things different….not for the narrow minded!! :

Make sure you go and like NOiZEE on Facebook!!! ♥ www.facebook.com/noizeeofficial

thank you!!! ♥
